Photon Infotech founded by Successful Entreprenur Brothers in 2007

Photon, founded by two successful Silicon Valley entrepreneur brothers, is the largest provider of Cloud-to-Consumer User Experiences, also known as C2C-UX. Founders Srinivas and Mukund Balasubramanian, are two brothers with different educational backgrounds. Srinivas focused on business with an MBA from the Indian Institute for Management Calcutta and has professional experiences in investment banking with JP Morgan and CLSA. Mukund, a technologist, has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Prior to Photon Infotech, the brothers founded INFRAVIO in Mukund’s dorm room at Stanford in 1999. INFRAVIO is now one of the world’s leading companies in Web Services and SOA Governance space. The brothers envisioned the product strategy and built the technology team that eventually led their product to be put in the number one position by global analyst firm, Gartner, placing them above competitors such as Oracle, IBM, HP and TIBCO. Their development of web services technology enabled the brothers to anticipate the Enterprise Cloud to emerge as a global platform.

In 2006, the brothers sold INFRAVIO and found Photon one year later in 2007. The newly founded company generated hundreds of clients early in its birth as a cutting edge Silicon Valley Startup Company. Photon prides itself as being a company with a deep understanding of the newest emerging technology in both the cloud and mobile computing spaces. Its culture, scale and stability of a Global Services provider, services Fortune 100 Enterprise IT clients. Currently serving more multichannel and mobile clients than any if its leading competitors, Photon created its own New York based in-house Design Agency, called 72 Pixels, to service all of their clients and manage creative content for the new responsive and mobile-native era.

Photon Infotech Reviews – By the Numbers

If the late 1990’s marked the beginning of the Internet Age, the late 2000’s certainly will be remembered as the years when mobile technology took over the world. Many companies tried to capitalize on the boom – most failed. Of the few that mastered the tech and were able to secure contracts with large clients, Photon Infotech is the most noteworthy.

2012 highlighted a spectacular year for the world leader in Cloud-to-Consumer User Experiences. In addition to adding a new office in Minneapolis, the company expanded its workforce to 2,200 employees – 1,600 of those engineers devoted to working on powerful multi-channel solutions. It also marked the launch of Photon Infotech’s Windows 8 practice. Made up of over 200 engineers, the practice has already developed highly rated apps for Windows powered devices and has dozens of projects lined up.

Last year also saw Photon Infotech’s transition from a back-end solutions provider into a company capable of “doing it all.” More specifically, through its in-house design agency 72 Pixels, the agency is now staffed to take on all front-end design and marketing aspects of a project. Clients who would rather only go through one IT agency are excited about the prospect of working with Photon Infotech exclusively.

As an example, a near majority of Fortune 500 companies have lined up to sign contracts with Photon Infotech. Over one-quarter of the biggest companies in the world have chosen the global provider for their multichannel solutions needs. Among them are household names such as Walgreens, Cisco, the Home Shopping Network and Horizon Healthcare.

There is perhaps no better example of what Photon Infotech is capable of than its completely refurbished website. Featuring a fresh look and advanced functionality, the site is a testament to the quality Photon Infotech delivers to each and every one of its clients.

In 2012, all of Photon’s hard work has seemingly paid off. For the fourth consecutive year the company enjoyed over 65% sales growth. Its customer base now stands proudly at over 700 and it has been recognized as one of the hottest IT companies in the world.

Photon Infotech – The Enduring Cloud

Photon Infotech is the largest provider of Cloud-to-Customer User Experiences. By now, most people have at least heard of the cloud, but what does “residing on the cloud” really mean, and why has cloud technology become so popular?

In simple terms, the cloud allows businesses to reach their customers more readily. Establishing sustainable, more personal relationships have never been easier thanks to the convenience afforded by mobile and tablet applications.

The cloud came into existence for several reasons. For one, it provides companies with the convenience of reduced server management. In fact, human interaction with physical devices is kept to a minimum. Secondly, the software can be accessed through several device clients such as a web browser or program interface. Next, the cloud provides a steady and scalable connection back to a company that once again, requires little overhead. Finally, users enjoy the advanced security offered by applications that reside on the cloud.

All told, the average person no longer has to imagine a world where information can be safely accessed from any time or any place – the cloud makes it all possible. But not just any company is equipped with the knowledge and resources to take advantage of this pioneering technology. Of the few that have, it can be argued that Photon Infotech came out on top.

Photon Infotech recognized the role cloud technology would come to play long before any other IT consulting firm. Its commitment to developing stellar applications is the primary reason why they have grown at such a staggering pace over the last five years. As an example, the company has enjoyed a 65 percent year over year sales growth since 2009 – a number that is only expected to increase in the coming years. It has also acquired a plethora of high profile clients such as Walgreens, HSN, Cisco and Yahoo.

To date, Photon Infotech employs over 1,500 highly skilled mobile consultants and works with over 700 unique clients. It has become the go-to company for any business seeking comprehensive, creatively designed and stable applications. The cloud will endure, as will Photon Infotech.

Photon Infotech – Fortune 500 Clients

Most Internet consulting firms deem themselves lucky if they manage to acquire one or
two Fortune 500 clients. Photon Infotech has procured contracts with 21 percent of the
companies listed within the Fortune 100, and work with over 50 Fortune 500 companies
in total. An astounding feat by any means, Photon Infotech’s success can be attributed to
their outstanding work ethic and well-crafted solutions.

One aspect of Internet consulting firms that is commonly overlooked is how well they
communicate with their clients. Miscommunication can lead to end products that do not
properly reflect the client’s original vision. As you can suspect, mediocre solutions lead
to the client looking elsewhere for answers. Where other companies’ customer service
departments fail, Photon’s succeeds. Each agent is trained to work directly with the
client, addressing each and every one of their needs in the process. It is for this reason
that Fortune 500 companies feel so comfortable working with Photon Infotech.

Also, Photon Infotech is one of the only IT firms in the world that offers their clients
fully customized, comprehensive solutions. In addition to handling all of the back end
development processes, they are happy to help clients out with the creative design of an
application. Although most clients emphasize functionality first, it is a proven fact that
consumers download applications that are user to navigate and aesthetically pleasing.
Recognizing this, Photon Infotech delivers products that properly reflect the client’s
vision and appeal to the sensibility of end users.

Another reason why so many Fortune 500 companies have latched on with Photon
Infotech is because Photon always manages to provide solutions that are ahead of the
technological curve. Considering how hard it is to keep up with the latest trends, it is
truly staggering that Photon Infotech manages to create solutions for technologies that
haven’t even launched. Even now, they are readily working on 10 active projects for the
yet to be released Windows 8 OS.

Big companies want to hire consulting firms they can trust. That’s exactly why so many
of them contact Photon Infotech for all of their technology solutions.

Encouraging their employees to speak freely and think creatively, the leaders at Photon Infotech understand what it takes to run a highly successful organization. The new facility at Chennai will also serve to increase their viability in today’s competitive market.

A Review of Photon Infotech's – iPhone App's

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past five or so years, you may have heard of the iPhone and the App Store. Spurring the mobile application revolution, the App Store is littered with programs that run the gamut from games to personal assistants and much more. Recognizing this huge market for mobile applications, it comes as little surprise that world leading Internet consulting firm Photon Infotech is helping to create some of the most innovative apps on the marketplace for their many existing clients.

Of the many applications created by Photon Infotech for the iPhone, a few stand out as truly spectacular and indicative of Photon’s wide range of expertise. For instance, they partnered with Trilibus, a worldwide leader and creator of most of the most recognizable mobile applications on the planet, to create Orbit. A social networking and utility app, Orbit changes the way individuals interact with their contacts. Friends are grouped into orbits and it’s up to the user to decide how often or how much they want to hear from them. It also connects to massive sites like Facebook and Twitter, so status updates can be seen right next to contact information – quite revolutionary.

Photon Infotech prides itself on its sense of humor. In addition to creating social networking apps they also create ones that are designed so their users might have a good time. Niktec is one of these apps. A drinking game where players drink one shot of beer every minute for 100 minutes are rewarded as a contest winner. Just be sure not to drive after you play!

Finally, we have Siri. Renowned for being a giant leap forward in adaptive artificial technology, Siri is an extremely popular Virtual Personal Assistant found on iPhones everywhere. Extremely popular on the marketplace, Photon Infotech was intimately involved in the creation of the cutting-edge technologies facilitated by Siri and continues to support the growth of voice and natural language recognizing software.

The list of iPhone applications Photon has worked on is simply staggering and will continue to grow for as long as the marketplace remains popular. Based on prior history, that should be a very long time.
